Addmission to Centennial happens six times a year. An applying student must attend an Orientation to initiate the process. The orientation dates for 2007-2008 are as follows:
- August 7, 2007
- September 4, 2007
- October 16, 2007
- November 27, 2007
- January 22, 2008
- March 4, 2008

9TH GRADERS |

- When applying for 1st Hexter, student must pre-register at home High School for Fall because there is not a guarantee that the student will be admitted in the 1st Hexter.
- An applying student must attend Orientation in August for a chance to enter 1st Hexter; call Centennial H.S. during the month of May for exact date of Orientation. We do admit students and hold an Orientation every six weeks during the school year.
- Orientation Requirements for application consideration:
- Attend Orientation in our gym: begins promptly at 1:00pm - the doors are LOCKED at 1:00pm and we don't let anyone in for any reason. Duration: 1½ to 2 hours.
- Any students interested in attending Centennial High School or coming to an orientation must have already earned 40 high school credits, 10 of these must be English credits. Please bring your transcripts showing these credits with you to orientation.
- Attend Placement testing the following Friday. Duration: 2 to 3 hours.
- Attend a 1-hour interview with counselor the following week.
- Students are recommended but not required to have completed 10 credits of World History from 9th grade.
- Only 20-25 students are admitted to Centennial H.S. every six weeks. These students are selected using the recommendations based on the above criteria.
