- CSU's Visual Arts Dept. Final Projects Viewing : On Tuesday, May 20th, Rose is walking over to CSU's Visual Arts Dept. to see the Master's students final projects on display. Any interested students meet Rose after school at 2:45pm to go over.
- Independent packets : Due this Friday (May 16th) by 3:00pm
- ACE Credit : Anyone interested in earning ACE credit this summer, there will be a meeting in Gayna's room next Tuesday, May 20th at lunch. Pizza will be provided.
- FRCC Classes for Juniors : Interested in taking classes at Front Range Community College for the Fall Semester? If you are you could get it paid for through the House Bill program. Come down to the counseling offices and see Galynn for more information. Deadline for applications is May 21st.
- The Houska-Houska 5K race is May 26th. Let's get a team together and run/walk. Details to be announced.
- Girl Scouts of Colorado will be hosting a week-end of inspiration for teens, ages 11-17 years old, on June 6-8 in Greeley. The cost is $175 and scholarships are available. See Lupe for details.

- CSU Advisor: There will be an academic advisor here from CSU on next Wednesday at 9:00am (April 30th) See Galynn for more information.
- ROTARY CLUB Scholarship: The Ft Collins Breakfast Rotary Club will be awarding a CHS senior with a scholarship. Please see Lupe in the Counseling Office to pick up an application and for further details.

Inspiration for Teens

the project is selected, the student can win an all expense paid trip
to Washington, D.C. in May.
Travel Bags: Centennial High School invites you to help local youth in need by supporting "CHS Community Matters: Travel Bags", a program that helps homeless students by providing them with a travel bag filled with necessary hygiene items.
Students Build a Wheelchair Ramp: These students were preparing for a Road Scholar trip.
Habitat for Humanity: Eweek gave students a chance to work at Habitat for Humanity and make travel bags.
students entering the 10th grade in the 2007-2008 school year. These student will be required to have proof of receiving the Tdap vaccine. This is based on the Center for Disease Control recommendations to prevent cases of Pertussis (Whooping Cough). 
It is easy to overlook the youth in our own backyard. Sometimes the smallest amounts can truly make the greatest difference.
For every pound of pop tops from soda cans collected, a patient is helped with dialysis here in Ft.Collins. Turn in pop tops to front desk or Tim's room.
