STUDENT MESSAGES
  • Summer Independent Study: Work on your independent study packets in June and July. Packets are due to Mike on the first day of school (Aug 17th).
  • Back to School Potluck: Staff, students and families are invited to attend the Back to School Potluck dinner on August 20th. Please bring a salad or dessert to share. Mike will be grilling hamburgers. CHS will supply all the fixings, drinks, plates, napkins and forks.
  • Bell Schedule: Plese make note that the CHS bell schedule changes next year. Late start will be Wednesdays only with Zero Period at the end of the day.
DID YOU KNOW?
In the pilot episode of the classic television sitcom "Mister Ed," the talking horse was played by a mare.

CHS relies on fundraising and donations to help education every child everday.

COMMUNITY MATTERS


Environmentors:
An after school program where a student earns independent science credit or community service credit while CSU working on a long term environmental project with a one on one with a mentor from CSU. If the project is selected, the student can win an all expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. in May.

Travel BagsTravel Bags: Centennial High School invites you to help local youth in need by supporting "CHS Community Matters: Travel Bags", a program that helps homeless students by providing them with a travel bag filled with necessary hygiene items.

Centennial offers students the rare opportunity to travel to Chile to participate in community service projects such as rebuilding a historic church and working on farms.

HEALTH CENTER: WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP

Health Center VisitIt is easy to overlook the youth in our own backyard. Sometimes the smallest amounts can truly make the greatest difference.

The Health Center services are funded entirely by donations, grants and student fees. We need your help to provide continued operating expenses until our annual "Steak Fry" in April 2009, which serves as our major fundraising event for the Health Center.

Helping hands

Help shape the future. Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks inside and outside the classroom.

Opportunity: A volunteer needed with clerical computer experience who could help with mailings. Excel and Word experience.
