At the end of every hexter students enjoy a variety of elective courses.

Elective week includes items such as:

• Habitat for Humanity and Community Matters Travel Bags
• Biking, hiking around Horsetooth, and reading to kids at Lab School
• Red Feather Adventures — camping, bon fire, marshmallows
• Origami projects
• Cowboy Up — Branding, herding, horn clipping, bullriding shows
• Clearning brush and painting a barn at the Boys & Girls camp
• Painting a small house for an elderly community member
• Fused Glass Pictorial in handmade hardwood box
• Moderate hiking, picnic and in town PE activity
