Skip Caddoo Named Principal for Cache La Poudre Junior High

We are pleased to announce that Skip Caddoo, current assistant principal at Cache La Poudre Junior High, has accepted the position of principal. Brian Williams, current principal, is retiring at the end of the school year.

An interview team comprised of Cache La Poudre staff members and parents, facilitated by a district administrator, led the initial selection process. The interview team then forwarded the top three candidates to Dr. Jerry Wilson, superintendent, and Manny Ortega, assistant superintendent of secondary schools. Dr. Wilson and Mr. Ortega recommended Mr. Caddoo from a strong field of candidates.

Mr. Caddoo has extensive experience in public education both as a teacher and an administrator. He has been the assistant principal of Cache La Poudre since 2004. He was the assistant principal at Turner Middle School in Berthoud from 2002-2003 and he taught at Lesher Junior High from 1990-2002.

Mr. Caddoo’s qualifications also include a master’s degree in educational leadership, a secondary science teacher certification, and a bachelor’s degree in forest biology, all from Colorado State University.

We are excited that Mr. Caddoo will be the principal for Cache La Poudre and know that his 18 years of education experience will be an asset to the parents, students, and staff members of Cache La Poudre.
