Candia Hotel is in the center of Athens on the edge of the car-restricted area. The Hotel lies opposite the railway station at the Diligiani underground station. All rooms in the hotel are air-conditioned and have private amenities. The hotel boasts a bar and roof garden from which you can relax and enjoy a splendid view of the city and the Acropolis.

Palace Hotel (6/13/2008 - 6/13/2008)
The Palace Hotel is located in Glyfada, Athens exciting marina, right on the seafront and next to the Olympic Marine of 2004 Olympic Games.All the modernly furnished rooms have AC and heating, Direct dial telephone and Cable TV.The hotel also has a swimming pool, restaurant and pool bar.

My student meets all of the requirements for eligibility:

8th, 9th or 10th Grade Student

Attend Cache La Poudre Junior High School or were a former student in good standing.

Good Academic Standing (2.0 GPA or higher) at the end of the 2007-08 school year.

No discipline issues or referrals in the 2007-08 school year

Complete application essay (if this is your second time going on the CLP trip you don't need to do this.)
5. Please make a selection. I understand that if my student is suspended from school for any reason or does not achieve a 2.0 GPA or higher by the end of the 2007-08 school year, they will not be allowed to attend the trip. This may result is the loss of some or all monies paid to Explorica Inc.
6. Please make a selection. I understand that if my student violates the PSD Code of Conduct on the trip they may be sent home at considerable additional expense to the parents.
7. Please make a selection. My student has completed the Application Essay and been approved by Mr. Jewett or has been on the CLP trip before.

9. Please make a selection. I understand the sponsors of this trip do not have the ability to cancel a registration or issue a refund.

I understand that the Basic Tour Fee of $2,370 DOES INCLUDE:

Round-trip airfare

4-day Aegean Cruise

4 overnight stays (6 with extension) in hotels with private bathrooms

4 overnight stays in cabins on cruise ship

Full European breakfast daily

Dinner daily

Lunch on cruise ship

Full-time services of a professional Tour Director

Guided sightseeing tours and city walks as per itinerary

Visits to select attractions as per itinerary

Flight from Athens--London on extension

Greek evening on cruise

Passport and visa fees (non U.S. citizens must secure any necessary visas)

The $95 non-refundable Explorica Lifetime Membership Fee

Lunch, unless specified in the itinerary

Optional excursions and/or extensions

Explorica Comprehensive Travel Protection or Comprehensive PLUS

Local transportation to unscheduled activities

Weekend supplement of $35 if your departure or return flight falls on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday

High Season supplement of $95 for departures between December 15 and December 24

I understand that there will be additional fees of  approximately $269 to cover the cost of two to three excursions on the islands and tips to the tour director, bus driver and cruise ship staff for a total cost of $3,298. The amount of $269 will be collected the week prior to Spring Break.
