CLP Energy Conservation
Our school district
is one of the best savers of energy in the country but
that's not good enough for CLPJH. We want to be the
best in the school district so we have started an energy
conservation team. We aim to guide our school along
to become better aware of our wastes in energy use.
We have started an energy contest in which a pizza party
will be given to the homeroom class with the most energy
money.
So far with all our school has done in the month of February we have saved a lot of energy. We saved 3,555 kilowatt hours for last month. We also saved 4,443 lbs of coal and prevented 6,721 lbs of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. We also have downed our peak amount used at one time which is wonderful.
We want to continue this wonderful progress and keep on making this earth that we live on better place. If we keep this up we will be the best energy saving school in the district. Keep up the good work CLP and we will have more money to make our school better.
