SOFTBALL
Softball for 7th and 8th grade girls will begin August 22nd. Athletes should meet on the softball fields after school. Practices will be held every day after school from 2:30 - 4:30pm. All players must have a current physical on file to participate. Softball is a “no-cut” sport, and the girls will be playing two games per week. Varsity players will play on Mondays and Thursdays; Junior Varsity players will play Wednesdays and Fridays. The first softball game is at CLPMS on September 6th against Kinard. If you have any questions, please direct them to Carla Bredehoft @ cbre-deho@psdschools.org.

CROSS COUNTRY
All boys and girls interested in running cross country in the fall should email Terri Berger at terrib@psdschools.org. Cross country is a long distance running sport and is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Practice is every day after school from 2:25-3:30pm starting on August 21st. Athletes will need a new pair of running shoes, shorts, a sleeveless shirt or tank top, and a water bottle. The longest race is 2.5 miles, and the shortest race is 2 miles. Come out and enjoy running! Interested students should sign-up through the City of Fort Collins Recreation Dept. Call 221-6309 for more information.

TENNIS
Seventh and eighth graders are eligible for CLPMS Tennis. Players of all abilities are welcome; we do not cut according to ability. Positive attitudes are required, however, in addition to responsibility, attendance, and school eligibility for grades and citizenship! We have rackets to loan. Tennis shoes required, and shorts with pockets. We will publish schedules as soon as we can. Contact Coach Eric Hermann for more info: ehermann@frii.com or 970-482-8339.
