Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Kind, and Mr. Duffy
Welcome, third graders!
We are so excited about the year ahead of us. By the time you are in third grade, you know many things. Now it’s time to be adventurous and learn even more about the world around you. In third grade you’ll learn lots of geography, visit each continent, and even go into space! Okay, not really, but as close as we can through our explorations. We’ll spend time learning about different cultures, how to make good economic choices and discover ways we use and conserve that all-important resource…H2O. You’ll become an excellent storyteller and be a part of our Storytelling Festival. We’ll put to use all the skills you’ve learned so far, and add some great new strategies for reading, writing and arithmetic!
So, “pack your bags” and come along with us. The sky’s the limit!
Yours fellow travelers,
Mrs. Kind, Mr. Duffy and Mrs. Martin
