I enjoy teaching because…I like to help students realize that they can affect their future in any way that they dream possible.

Some of my favorite quotes are…“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire”- William Butler Yeats, and “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of the dream” – Eleanor Roosevelt.

My hobbies and interests include…spending time with my family- my husband Mike, and my three children: Imogene, Arlen and Enid, sewing, crafting, blogging, biking, traveling, and hanging around old town.

Something I really love about Dunn IB World School is…that when I walk through the doors at Dunn I feel like I have the world at my fingertips.  I can meet people from everywhere, with all kinds of perspectives, connect to them, and learn together about what our future world has to offer.
