Dear Kindergarten Parents,

We are very excited for your family to join our family at Dunn. The first year at Dunn IB World School is an adventure-filled journey to new knowledge. It consists of many exciting and educational activities that enrich the academic and social lives of our children. Both full-day and half-day programs are offered at Dunn.

Our student-driven inquiries lead us into topics about schools around the world, our selves and our emotions, the science of cause and effect, caring for our earth, and knowing where we are in place and time. Students build a strong academic background that prepares them for reading and problem solving. We offer an accelerated reading program and we differentiate our teaching for the variety of needs and abilities that children enter school with and develop throughout the year.

The students at Dunn are teachers too! Through interacting with one another and researching topics that they are interested in, the kindergarteners become life-long learners. They use their natural curiosity, along with their independent character, to guide themselves into a deeper understanding of the world around them!
