I enjoy teaching because…I learn something new every day. I love going to work knowing that I will share my day with a room full of enthusiastic, curious, and happy children!

My favorite children's book are…The Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

One of my favorite quotes is…"Do what you can with what you have, where you are." Theodore Roosevelt.

My hobbies and interests include…spending time with my wonderful family-my husband, three sons, and two golden retrievers. I love to cook, read, scrapbook, play golf, and travel. I also play the harp professionally and spend many hours in various musical settings.

Something I really love about Dunn IB World School is…that it embodies so much of what I have learned as an educator. The Primary Years Program enables children to succeed in school, respect others, and to become compassionate and lifelong learners. What better gift can we give our children and the world they will inherit?
