Dear Student,

Today's student faces many challenges, some which come from outside the classroom. At Dunn we want to help you be successful, as a student and in life. Learning to understand your feelings and those of others, getting along with others, resolving conflicts, and feeling confident and proud of yourself are among our goals for our students at Dunn.

How can I help you? As the school counselor, I frequently help students deal with various situations privately and confidentially. In the fall we all learn about "Bully-Proofing Your School" together, so we have the skills to resolve conflicts and support each other. Small groups are offered throughout the year for those who may benefit by learning with others.

Our Student Council is also a fun and exciting program for our fourth, fifth and sixth graders that I am pleased to participate in. I am here to support you-just let me know how!
