and Missing Assignments (for each class)

The PIV service is not meant to replace direct communication between you
and your teachers.
If you have questions about any of the information, please discuss them with
your teachers. Parents:

orother school staff members. If you have questions about any
of the information, please discuss them with your child first.
Then have your child discuss it with their teachers. If you need further
clarification, please contact the school or your child's teacher.

Hints About Grades:
Missing Assignments are denoted
by:
X (exempt) - not missing not averaged into term grade.
Z - missing and averaged as a zero in term grade.
Blank - still to be graded or made-up, and not yet averaged into term grade. .Term grades are calculated by teacher preference using either
total points or weighted categories. .Teachers may "round up" an individual grade at
their discretion.
A = 90-100%, B = 80-89%, C = 70-79%, D = 60-69%, F < 60% .Teachers have the expectation to update grades within 7 days
of due date of a given assignment.
Accessing
the PIV you will need:
Student ID
PIN Code or Voice ID#
If you need to request a PIN Code Call 488-8009
Click on the PIV Link
-Enter Student ID
-Enter PIN Code
-Select Fort Collins High from the Select School drop-down
menu.
The first screen will be a Report Card which provides
an attendance summary and overall grade information.
Do NOT request a Report Card as it will exit the PIV and you will have to reenter
the ID and PIN Code.
Choosing Individual Assignment Report:
-Select the class by using the Select a Class drop-down menu.
-From the Select a Report drop-down menu choose Student
Grade Report.
-Select the current marking period from the Select a Marking Period drop-down
menu.
- Click on the Request Report button.
