Cinco de Mayo Celebration at FCHS

Photos by Profe Enriquez. Students and Staff showed up Monday, May 5th to take in the diversity and culture at FCHS "Cinco de Mayo" celebration. Cinco de Mayo is a date of great importance for the Mexican heritage and a chance for people of all races to celebrate together. The holiday commemorates the Mexican army's defeat of the French at the Battle of Buebla on May 5, 1862. The event was a wonderful opportunity to experience diversity, as well as history at FCHS.
