Spotlight on Physics

Photos by Katie Auman.  Mr. Steinle and Ms. Wise's physics classes put their learning into action earlier this semester as they launched tennis balls into a basket positioned 3, 5, and 10 meters away.  Students were testing 2-D motion and forces as they catapulted tennis balls through the air. In addition to being judged on accuracy, students were given the opportunity to compete for the longest shot and the longest time in the air from 3m.
