 Other Places & Revue Sketches: November 15, 16, & 17 @ 7:00 pm in the FCHS McNeal Performing Arts Center.

 

 FCHS Tower Theater will present Other Places & Revue Sketches eight one-acts by Harold Pinter November 15, 16, & 17 @ 7:00 pm in the McNeal Performing Art Center. These are dark and brooding acts that run the gamut of fear, terror, estrangement, confusion, torment, and loss. To give a brief run-down of the individual pieces themselves: ‘Victoria Station’ is a dialogue between two men both lost in the night and in themselves‘Request Stop’ highlights the insanity of a woman who cannot resist tormenting those around her‘That’s All’ is an eerie and comedic conversation between two women discussing daily routines‘A Kind of Alaska focuses on the psychological results of losing 29 years to sleeping sickness“One for the Road’ follows the tortures of a government against a defiant family‘Special Offer’ shows a woman wondering if a flyer proclaiming “men for sale” is true.‘That’s Your Trouble’ plays out an argument between two friends about pain and suffering‘Family Voices’ attempts to trace letters between a mother and her son sent but never received  Below is a listing of the students who have given their time & spirit to these aggressive one-acts:

Other Places & Revue Sketches will take place November 15, 16, & 17 @ 7 pm in the FCHS McNeal Performing Arts Center. As always, PSD faculty and staff are entitled to one free comp ticket to any of the three performances – just show your PSD badge at the door or email me before hand and we’ll set the ticket at will call. All other tickets are $5 general admission available at the door beginning 6:00 each performance night. And if we can help bring your classes to the production, please let us know how. Questions?
