The Mind Center is a collaborative course for Fossil Ridge High School sophomore students and future teachers participating in Colorado State University's Project Promise. The Mind Center aims to foster positive and productive relationships in order to improve academic achievement, and to provide FRHS students with individualized, student-directed learning goals, strategies, and support for academic and personal success.

The Mind Center will provide opportunities for students to engage in individualized support, mentorship, and/or tutoring, as well as enrichment opportunities to explore areas of interest, while working toward the following goals:

Build upon successes and strengths

Continue to develop respect for self and others

Strive for academic excellence

The Mind Center focuses on developing personal relationships between students and adults in the building, providing academic support, and personal mentoring.
