John Lakas grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. There he attended North Carolina State University where he received his degree in Math and Science Education. Immediately after college he began teaching 7th grade Algebra in Raleigh, NC at Moore Square Middle. He has also had the privilege of teaching English in Patagonia Chile. John enjoys a variety of recreational activities: running, soccer, golf, hiking, biking, reading, snowboarding, cooking, and practicing Spanish. He loves being around youth because of their energy and creativity! |
