Megan Menard feels most at home in the classroom and in the mountains. She is a native of Fort Collins and graduated from Asbury College with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education. She came to Kinard Middle School last year with a range of experiences teaching in grades 7-12 in English, Honors, Yearbook, Creative Writing, and working with at-risk youth in an alternative program in Denver. Megan’s passion as a teacher is to become a writer herself and to help her students develop genuine confidence both personally and academically. When she’s not at school, Megan often spends her time in Estes Park or Poudre Canyon. Thunderstorms are one of her favorite parts of life, and she spends her time on a rainy day reading a good book. |
