Sheri began her career at Cache La Poudre Elementary in 1988, and moved to Johnson Elementary in 1991 where she taught grades 1,2, 3,4 and 6 over the next 17 years. During those years she served first as the building literacy coordinator, and then as the science coordinator. She is licensed to teach language arts K-12, but her true passion is educating middle school students. She loves teaching science, and believes that the best learning occurs when language arts are integrated into the science curriculum. Sheri is married to Greg, and they have two sons, Chase (19) and Braden (15). Her passions are writing, reading, water sports, and watching her husband and sons race mountain bikes and play hockey.
