Creative, energetic, and nurturing, Renée Thome has been an educator in Poudre School District since 1995. She has taught at Beattie and Zach Elementary Schools and is thrilled to be starting her 4th year teaching 6th grade at Kinard. Diverse levels of education provide Renée with a strong foundation for teaching; an undergraduate degree in Psychology from CSU, a K-6 teaching license from CU, and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University. Renée’s passions range from creating works of ceramic art to road cycling and mountain biking. Originally from Maine, her yearning for the ocean (and lobster) is often reflected in her art work and her classroom. |
