Jenny McGinnis - Literacy

Jenny McGinnis, a native South Dakotan, recently moved to the Fort Collins area. She graduated in May 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Black Hills State University. She then went back to Black Hills State and obtained a second degree in order to become a Secondary Language Arts Teacher. She believes the best part of being a teacher is the opportunity to work with such wonderful students. It is truly a joy to watch students learn. She enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and black and white photography, one of the main reason why she moved closer to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She loves to read and has been known to devour several books at one time!
