The International Thespian Society
is the international honor society for Drama Club members who show commitment and leadership through theatrical productions. Anyone can be in Drama Club. To be inducted as an ITS member, students must have accumulated 10 or more points by being in shows. The club works for field trips, guest speakers, supporting students and awarding outstanding performers. Meetings are every Monday at 3:15 in the auditorium. Main Stage Theatrical Productions include one fall musical and one non-musical full-length play in the spring. Students must audition with a monologue and/or music number and be willing to commit 2-3 months of rehearsal every day after school. Many students who are also athletes can still participate as rehearsals can be scheduled around conflicts.
