Poudre School District currently supports two gymnastics teams; Rocky Mountain High School (RMHS) and Fort Collins High School (FCHS). Although Poudre gymnasts are given the opportunity to join either team, it has long been the tradition for Poudre gymnasts to compete as part of the FCHS team. Poudre gymnasts can be consistently counted on to help FCHS succeed in league, conference and regional competitions. Poudre gymnasts were instrumental in helping the FCHS gymnastics team bring home the top trophy at the high school state gymnastics championship in 2002.
After years of training at the GK Gymnastics facility, the team now shares gymnastics equipment and training facilities with the Rocky Mountain High School gymnastics team at Rocky Mountain High School. Practices are held each day after school and a detailed practice schedule can be accessed by clicking Practices link above. Given the current training option, the FCHS gymnastics team travels for many of its meets. A meet schedule is available by clicking here.
