IB Grading Scale

All IB students (9-12) are on the following scale:

A 100 -90

B 89 - 80

C 79 - 70

D 69 - 60

All 11th and 12th grade students enrolled in official diploma courses now receive a weighted grade and can not receive extra compensation in addition. This is PSD policy. Many PIB (Pre-IB)/MYP students must take classes with the same title, but are not designated PIB/MYP due to scheduling conflicts. The course work is no different, but since these classes and teachers are not officially part of the IB program, it creates an unfair situation for these students on a different grading scale. It is necessary that the IB Program have a uniform scale so that expectations are communicated clearly.
