The Poudre High School
Capstone Experience
The Poudre High School Capstone Experience allows students the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and experience gained during public education. Involved students are allowed to do nearly anything as a Capstone project- From musical albums to full-scale theatrical productions. The only requirements are that involved students have a passion for their project, and have a community benefit in mind.

This opportunity is available to any student who wishes to create and complete a community-based career-oriented project. Transcript credits are awarded based on the ratio of 1 credit for every 18 hours of planning and effort. A student may earn up to five credits for their Capstone Experience. One does not need to earn any credit to earn a Capstone award, however.

The ceremony is held at Poudre, where participating students are awarded a medal and certificate. Family and friends are invited to participate by observing small presentations of projects students have worked on. Snacks are usually also provided. If you desire more information or have questions, please contanct Sally Doyle via e-mail.
