Who We Are
The Poudre Chamber program consists of the Brass Quintet, Woodwind Quintet, Sax Quartet and Percussion Ensemble along with several ensembles out of our Orchestra Program. Membership in any of these groups is by audition only. New groups may be added as student interest warrants. We focus on ensemble communication, balance and blend and play a diverse repertoire.
The Chamber Ensembles give one concert each semester, and perform at several community events. We also plan to perform each year at the District Solo & Ensemble Festival and/or the State Solo & Ensemble Festival. These groups rehearse 2 times a week, with the schedule arranged by the director
Our Chamber Ensemble concert schedule is still in the works. We are hoping to give at least one concert at a venue outside of Poudre High School. Someplace with favorable acoustics for small groups.
