Library of Congress (American Memory)
American Memory provides open access to sound recordings, written and spoken words, still and moving images as well as prints, maps and sheet music. This is an excellent databse of unique primary sources; a collective memory which chronicles the history of the United States.

PHS Media Center provides access to five Thomson - Gale databases:
Student Resource Center Searchable databses which covers cultures, science, geography, history (US and World)and world literature.
Student Resource Center: Health Module This database searches for all medical and health related topics. It is searchable via academic journals, reference resources, multimedia files, magazines, newspapers and statistical data.
Opposing Viewpoints This database offers full text articles and statistical information on current events. It is a great place to get information for debates.
Contemporary Authors This database provides biographical and bibliographical information of over 120,000 US and international authors.
Literary Criticism This databases provides citical analysis of US and international contemporary authors' works.
