Student information
Students at Polaris Expeditionary Learning School learn what skills they need to live a successful life after school. They do this through an active learning environment, and teachers who like what they do. Polaris provides its students with a calm, relaxed atmosphere and a loving community where everyone knows each other. Polaris students always get the one on one attention they need from their teachers. Students are also encouraged to create quality work with multiple drafts to ensure productivity.
Like other schools Polaris has school clubs, such as Art club, Music club, and Chess club. Art club and music club is on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30, and Chess Club is on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30.
The students here at Polaris go through their regular classes but they also go on trips called Adventure. Students are given various types of credit like PE or history or art for these trips. This also treats its students to a different learning environment which helps most students immensely.
