In addition to three terms of AP Chemistry, RMHS offers a one-term class in Organic and Biochemistry taught at the level of an introductory college course for allied health majors. Because organic chemistry usually follows general chemistry in most curricula for science majors, it presents a formidable challenge to sophomore college students. Organic and Biochemistry at Rocky Mountain High School gives students the firm foundation in organic chemistry necessary to be highly competitive at the college level.
