Criteria for Entering Rocky Mountain High School

  1. Students must have earned at least 40 hours of credit in 9th grade;
  2. Students must have earned at least 10 hours of credit in 9th grade English;
  3. 10 credits of World History must be earned either during the 9th grade year or in summer school before the student can graduate from high school in the Poudre School District.  There is no guarantee that World History will be offered in high school during the regular school year.

Rocky Mountain counselors will visit and the Curriculum & Registration Guides and Course Interest Surveys will be distributed.


9th Grade Information Night

Rocky Mountain Commons & Gymnasium

All incoming sophomores and at least one parent should attend.  This is an opportunity to visit with teachers from each of our departments, and to attend an Advanced Placement (AP) informational session and a brief informational session presented by the counselors.


Course Interest Survey Collection

Rocky Mountain counselors will return to the Junior Highs and collect the Course Interest Surveys from each student.
