Helpful Hints
*If you are a runner and you want to keep running bases, make sure the ball is far enough away that the pitcher can't get it before you are halfway. If the pitcher has the ball before you are halfway, you will have to go back.

*Only two people can be near/even with the pitcher. It helps if you have a good thrower near the pitcher and a good catcher on first base. Then, since most batters hit to the right side of the pitcher, a good routine could be to get the ball and toss it to the first baseman.

*Make sure you know the difference between softball, baseball, and mushball. Some of the rules are different. Like if you hit three foul balls you're out. In softball and baseball you're not out with three.

*The first time you play mushball, you'll probably be scared that the ball will hurt when you catch it. But trust me its like catching a bunch of bandana scraps rolled into a ball. That's actually what it is made of.

*Make sure your players/teammates are responsible enough to know when you have a game. Captains are mainly supposed to make sure everyone knows. If you don't have a least six players at a game, your team forfeits. It is important not to forfeit because in the playoffs a tie goes to the team with the better record.
