Kris Clagett called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Kris let everyone know
that we have committee
positions available for next year and would like those
filled before the
next school year starts! We will post the positions in
April. Waiting to
hear back from current committee chairs if they would like to
keep their position.

A motion was made to pass the minutes by Jane Spomer
and Terri Johnson
seconded the motion.
Budget Report: Dawn Dorsch said the revenue is on track
however, we may need
to do a small fundraiser or something in May; ideas would be
Fort Fun family
night, etc.
Dawn sent a letter to
the teachers responsible for Priority 2 funding
advising that they need to
use the money or will lose it.
The Tomasini family donated $1000.00 to be used on for the Book Fair.
Cornstalk still does not have final numbers. We will
be getting a check from
Washington Mutual.

everything put together the display and it is done.
Homeroom parent's and
teacher's are putting something together for different
reading activities;
they only need a volunteer for a half hour slot needs to be
filled for each
class room. Dr Lawler will read the Cat in the Hat. Pledge
sheet are ready to
go home so the children can get a flat donation from family

Box Tops: Jane said
the contest is doing really well. And would like to
suggest for next time to have the children count them &
put in baggies with
total counts! It is taking extra time to get labels off the
sheets. We need to
have them turned in by February 28th. Mr. Evan's class won the pizza party for
the 5th and 6th grades contest. Total colleted was 726.
Valentines Party: Kim Miller said that everything was
underway. Ruth had a
concern for the menu that the homeroom parents were
putting together, since we
are to be eating healthier. May be getting some ideas from the Wellness
Committee on ideas for Valentines party and Birthday Party's. It does take time
to get everybody to focus on eating healthier.
Little Shop of Physic: It was a great turn out. This was a
joint sponsored
event between
Program Energy and. PTO. Both
donated $125 each to fund the
event. We would like
them to come back again, they need to
be invited or they
will not come.

bank and also collecting money for Empty Bowls they have collected $368.16.
John Clagett is matching .25 cent on the Dollar up to $250.00 so that brought
there total to
$460.19.
Used book sale they are having is a good turn out for
donations. They will
be selling the books to raise money to adopt a school in
the Katrina area.
They are in contact with someone that will be helping
the get a match. Hoping to
maintain a relationship with that school and maybe having pin pal's in the
future.
Jane Spomer is looking for Volunteers to take over for next year for Team
Tavelli. It is during lunch time from 12:30 to 1:15, Can meet any day of the
week, Suggest Monday are best day but can pick what will work for the
Volunteer(S).
Dr.Lawler: The survey for late start and early release have been coming in,
it looks like it will not
work. They might propose to have it like in the
past and have 5 or 6 early
release (1/2 days) thought out the year. There were
concerns on what to do
with the students. They will be meeting next Wednesday
for the final
decision.
Boundaries are
