Computer Lab News: This year in the computer lab, Kindergarten and 1st grades will focus on basic computer skills using Pixie and educational web sites, while 2nd through 5th will focus on Microsoft Office programs Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. In addition, we will use Internet resources to practice a variety of curricular skills and do research. We will also be working with Microsoft Paint and Adobe Photoshop Elements to create and manipulate graphics, and creating videos with PhotoStory 3 and Windows Movie Maker. 4th and 5th grades will practice keyboarding skills as well, and continue to compete within grade levels for the Golden Keyboard and a pizza party at the end of the year.
