Congratulations to Our Outstanding 6th Grade Student – Congratulations go out to
Kayl Ecton, in Mr. Evan’s 6th Grade Class. The Masonic Lodges of
Fort Collins have recognized her as one of PSD’s outstanding students, awarded
to 6th graders in the district.
Students are chosen on the basis of academic performance, citizenship
and stewardship, personality and character and leadership qualities. Tavelli
also had some students who received honorable mention: Chandler Kahl, Ben Koch,
Abigail McCeney, and Tallon Nightwalker. Congratulations to all of our Tavelli
leaders!
4. Costumes Needed For Dream Team – Do you have a Santa Suit or
an Elvis Costume hanging in your closet that you no longer need? Dream Team
would love to take it off your hands. If you have a costume you can donate to
the Dream Team cause, please drop it off at the office, or call Mr. Deakin at

12. Parents, Please
Note – If you are planning on moving over the summer or your child will
be attending another school, please contact the office at 488-6725. This will
facilitate our class placement process for next year. Thank you.
13. Attention future parents
of 3rd or 5th grade students! --Will your child be in third or fifth grade
next fall? Due to the overwhelming
support we received from parents this year, 3rd and 5th
grade teachers are asking parents for money to purchase school supplies next
year for their child, $20 for 3rd graders, and $25
for 5th graders. This money will
cover all of the supplies needed for the 2008-2009 school year!
Each grade level has an account that the money will
be deposited into. Parents will need
to make checks out to Tavelli and the funds will be deposited into the
proper account. Send a check with your
child to school in an envelope and their teacher will send it to the office to
be deposited into either the 3rd or 5th grade
account. Please make sure your child’s
name and what grade level they will be in next year is on the envelope. For
parents who would rather wait until school starts: Simply send a check the
first day of school. Of course, cash is
also accepted. A note will be sent home reassuring you that we have received
your check. Thank you from your 3rd and 5th grade
teachers!
