Hotel Businesses

The Timnath hotel housed other businesses besides just the hotel. It housed the Dr. W. S. Partridge Drugstore and Gift Shop in 1906. Another business in the hotel was Mr. Joyce¹s barber shop. There were also meat markets that worked out of the hotel that were owned by R. K. Huff in 1925 and Earl Miller in 1922. Later on in the history of the hotel the Elliot family had a bee keeping business there. They produced 50 tons of honey on good years. The Elliot family still owns the building.
