WAVE

WAVE, or Webber Aerospace Ventures in Education, is a program that was started in 1990. The program is one of 12 in the entire county. Mr. Peterson, a webber counselor, runs the program. WAVE is a simulated space mission comprised of six astronauts and a teacher who are chosen per semester to engage in two and one half days of simulated space flight. During this time, the astronauts perform science experiments, launch the shuttle, fly it, and land safely back at home.

Congratulations on a great flight!

Astronauts for the WAVE XXIV were:

Paula Bernander (Commander)
Mathew Miller
Marla Potterveld
Tyler Cote
Aubrey Valdez
Nick Pabo

With special thanks to Ms. Sonja Gedde, our teacher astronaut, and her "side kick": Space Kitty, the first Webber animal in space!
