1040 Art 3: This semester course is designed primarily as a program for students who wish to further their creative development in the fine arts. Students are encouraged to concentrate in areas of special interest to them on major projects. New techniques and media are introduced. Some of these might be advanced water color techniques, acrylic painting, mixed media drawings, multi-color silk screen painting, casting techniques, airbrush, and computer graphics. Students will provide supplies. Prerequisite: Art 2. This course may be taken for elective credits for high school in Core 3.
