1070 Photography 1: This course includes instruction in basic and fundamental 35mm camera use. Each student participates in darkroom techniques such as black and white film developing, picture printing, and picture enlarging. The history of photography is introduced, the science of photographic chemicals is studied, and visual perception is stressed by looking with discrimination through the lens of a camera. Students are asked to buy film and photo paper.

1080 Photography 2: This semester course is designed for further exploration in the field of photography. Students are asked to buy film. Film and photo paper will be available for purchase at school. Prerequisite: Photo 1.
