1321 Pottery
& Sculpture: During this one semester course students will
be introduced to three-dimensional methods of creating art. Students
will pursue individual interests in working with clay, glazes, and
other sculptural media. The elements and principles of three-dimensional
design will be studied as they apply to functional and non-functional
works of art. Students will provide supplies.
1322 Advanced Pottery: This course is a continuation of Pottery
and will include some sculpture. The students will design and construct
advanced pottery and sculpture pieces and will explore various techniques
associated with them. The students may also explore using multimedia
approaches to potter. Student supplies, kit and or/fees required.
Prerequisite: C or better in Pottery and Sculpture.
