4720 German I: This yearlong course introduces the skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the language. Students also study the countries and the culture of the people where the language is spoken. Emphasis is placed on listening and speaking skills. Class activities include conversations, dialogues, reading short selections, written exercises, interactive strategies, authentic cultural experiences and group activities.
